i-sense will be at this year's Spark Festival London with our interactive stall 'Bug Hunters', at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 30th and 31st August at 11am-6pm.
Where will you be when the next disease outbreak strikes? Infectious diseases are an inevitable part of life- constantly emerging and evolving- but that doesn’t mean we can’t stop them in their tracks!
Come and join us on an interactive journey through our hunt for bugs- to identify disease outbreaks much earlier than ever before.
We will show you how the technologies you use everyday- mobile phones, apps, search engines, social media- can be used to rapidly test and track infectious diseases. You can see for yourself, with the chance to use our mobile tests and read out your “diagnosis” in minutes.
There will be plenty of fun, hands-on activities, from art projects and puzzle competitions to helping us spread a “disease” around the festival- you never know when you could be interacting with someone with an infection!
Please come along and find out how you can help us fight infectious diseases!
Feel free to tweet us using #bughunters!
