Congratulations to i-sense Deputy Director Molly Stevens, who has been awarded the Society for Biomaterials' prestigious Clemson Award for Basic Research 2016!

This award recognises the Stevens Group for their contribution to the basic knowledge and understanding of the interaction of materials with tissue.

Molly Stevens is Professor of Biomedical Materials and Regenerative Medicine and the Research Director for Biomedical Material Sciences in the Department of Materials, Department of Bioengineering and the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. She leads the i-sense Flagship 4 project to develop low-cost diagnostics for HIV in developing countries.
