The i-sense Partnership Resource Fund and Education Alliance have announced new funding calls, in order to grow the expertise and skills of our researchers and support the translation of i-sense technologies into products and practices. See below for a list of current opportunities for i-sense researchers and all application forms in the grey box to the right.
i-sense Mobility Fellowships
Applications are welcome from i-sense researchers to support short working or training visits to leading national and international research teams, industry, healthcare, public health, policy makers and any potential users of i-sense technologies.
Fellowships should be between 1 week and 6 months and a maximum allowance of £10,000 per Fellowship is available (80% of directly incurred costs). This funding is available to cover travel and subsistence costs, and course fees where applicable. Awards must be utilised for mobility within 12 months of the award date.
Applications will be considered on a quarterly basis. The next deadline is 31st October 2016.
All awardees will be expected to write a brief report on their Mobility Fellowship and these may be featured on the i-sense website. For any further queries please contact Vince Emery (email@example.com).
i-sense Knowledge Transfer Grants
Applications are welcome from i-sense researchers for Knowledge Transfer Awards to support engagement with industry and the translation of i-sense technologies into products, practices and spin-out companies.
A maximum budget of £80,000 is allowed per grant (80% of directly incurred costs) and £560,000 is available in total. Applicants are encouraged to seek in-kind or match funding from an industry or external partner where possible. Please note that, due to the funding restrictions from EPSRC, only directly incurred costs are eligible for funding.
The closing date for the call is 30th of November 2016. This will be the last funding round planned.
All awardees will be expected to write a brief report on their Knowledge Transfer Grant and these may be featured on the i-sense website. For further information and informal discussions please contact the PRF lead Professor Vince Emery (firstname.lastname@example.org).
