Researchers and industry can collaborate with us through a variety of routes:
A range of themed Exploratory Project calls are designed to enable the full potential of the i-sense partnerships to be realised.
These projects are intended to be short, high-risk new collaborations (3-12 months), between two or more partners from the i-sense institutions that complement the Core Research Programme. Themed calls will focus on technology gaps in the consortium.
We have established a cross-‐partner Education Alliance to introduce new teaching courses and grow the skills of our students and Research Associates.
They will be exposed to the holistic perspective of end user needs and will benefit from the rich variety of skills and training opportunities available through our partnerships.
The aim of the Partnership Resource Fund (PRF) is to grow i-sense into a self-sustained hub of innovation, by networking with external academic, clinical and industry partners to maximize impact.
This will include a series of workshops, funds to support visiting researchers and flexible funding to leverage through partnership, for example translation projects. PRF funds will be used to seed projects with potential collaborators outside the i-sense network.
